i know what you mean hun. it's apparently the "cool" thing with a lot of people now to have pink hair. it's not like they're doing it because they want to, it's more so they can fit in with certain crowds, unfortunately

I had pink hair once.... by accident, it was supposed to be red :/
but I do fancy Audrey Kitching because she only has pink hair because she likes it, not because everyone else has it. and she cant stop anyone else from dyeing their hair pink either...
but yeah, its not so original anymore..

I agree. Maybe a few years ago if you had pink hair it was like "WOW" but now it's just, "Go find your own hair colour, hun". It's getting ridiculous.

Some people do like having pink hair - and the more people that have it, the more other people see it, think it looks good, and get curious to give it a try themselves. I think they know by now that it's not unique - but neither is brown, black, red, blonde, or even blue. That doesn't make any of those colours wrong, or that the wearer has lost their originality.

Ooh, I had purple once that was supposed to be brown....damn dye. But yeah, I will give her that, she was the first scene queen with pink hair, Jeffree was blonde at first...copycat....but I get what you meant by the journal, but you cannot generalise so much, I've learned that lesson myself......I mean...Audrey Kitching is shit...yeah, but just because she has pink hair doesn't mean she has to spoil it for everyone else.....I won't l;et her have that power, pink hair for all!!!!

Jeffree only had blonde hair for a short time - it was pink and pink streaked before that (and brown before that.) When did Audrey first dye hers pink? I've seen pictures of her with other shades that look newer than some of the older pictures of Jeffree with pink...not that it actually matters when any of them did.

Some people may like having pink hair, but a lot of them do it for the trend like the scene kids.

It's not so popular around here as other locales, but something I wanted to chime in is that a lot of people have pink hair because of breast cancer awareness. My best friend and her salon got a lot of people to do it, even had pink nights, where they would do pink pieces for free. It was fun.

I never heard of someone doing it for cancer. Good cause I suppose.

Think Pink campaign I think. I'm not saying it's too terribly original, but it's the only reason I've seen kids around here with pink hair. Other than the 12 year olds at the coffee shop that are bumming cigarettes on the sidewalk outside. lol.

Yeah. I see so many scene girls running around up in Saint Louis or the Loop at shows with pink hair or orange like Hayley williams... Its just a lame reason to dye your hair.

But I like the idea of the coloring your hair for cancer. I recently cut off 15 inches of my hair to donate for cancer patients, I'm surprised I didn't hear about that one.

true, it is odd you didn't hear about it. The distance between springfield and stl isn't that much at all. I've only been a few times, but I have driven through about 30 times on my way to chicago.

Well I live south of Saint Louis in Imperial... Its a pretty small town.
